Super sour sweet 16!

Thomas , Rome and Brandy Lynn
Thomas' slushy umbrella drinks with a sugary fruit slice

All the goodies for his friends

His party invititations

Thomas is now 16! He made it! I couldn't bare to give him a sweet 16, so we threw a Super Sour Sweet 16, full of candy and soda! The table decorations were mason jars full of jelly beans, licorice and lolipops. Thomas made a bonfire out back and it even survived the hail and snow. There was a cupcake fight and dogpiles galore, giggling girls and wresteling boys, what more could a 16 year old want? He requested a recliner and was gifted a very cozy reading chair. He got cash and gift cards for Itunes, the bookstore, and subway. This week he has been busy blowing his cash and loving it! We are truly lucky to have found him and are greatfull for all the joys and challenges he brings to out lives!

Our evening stroll through WhiteSands Beach
Spring is here!!!

Icicles hanging from a cave.

Side shot of the icicles

I put Albert in this picture so you could see how BIG the icicles are. The red on the rocks is mineral deposits from the icicles. This is a new favorite spot of mine, good job Albert and Tony for exploring. Boys can surely see a different beauty in the world. I am truly blessed!

Our favorit beach

Arctic driftwood at our favorite beach, Mill Bay
The trail we use to get back to our cars from Mill Bay Beach

Father and son, what is more precious than this!

Snow at the beach! Our favorite place to have picnics, bonfires, and watch firework shows. Mill Bay is also the property of choice when doing the new year polar bear plunge. The plunge is a celebration of the new year by jumping into ocean and taking a swim. Refreshing yourself for a new year of opportunities.

Lighten up. This was the name of Albert's spring concert. It was meant to lighten our mood during to dark days up to spring.
Albert's class sang songs like, Do you Ears Hang Low, Whacky do ,re ,mi and Chicken Lips and Lizard Hips. The hilight was the black lights and white gloves. Albert kept this as a surprise from us, we had no idea! it was really fun.
It was a just for fun, happy times, smiley concert. The kids were encouraged to wear bright, cheerful clothes, of course as soon as the concert was done, we walked into a lovelyKodiak blizzard!

This is my view at work. The Chiniak bay. I love living by the water.

This is the view from my front door! lucky me! Kodiak is a great place.

Albert's birthday weekend

The Alberts playing legos!
CASH!!! WooHoo, It's burnin a hole in his pocket.

Just one set of his many legos.

We had 2 birthday cakes for Albert because he invited so many friends.

We rented the pool for Albert's party. It's a great deal! We got the pool to ourselves for an hour then lunch was provided at the pizza parlor, Grandma Judy and Grandpa Al helped decorate! It was typical Albert style, camoflouge!
