Hunne and her grandkinds
My mom has many names these days. Grandma, Hunee and Nana are a few. She loves her grandkinds dearly and they love her. She is a fun grandma that will play with them and love them unconditionaly. My mom went back to school after I got married, now has 2 jobs, and lives to play with her grandkids. My mom has 11 (13 if you count Collin and Moira) grandkids and many more are to come! We can't wait to see her again in May. Love you mom!
summer fun with my sister
My sister Cynthia and her kids came down for a few weeks last summer. We had so much fun, hiking, playing at the beach and sitting around the fire pit. Her son Kaden is just a few months older than Albert. They have a blast together! Olivia is her little girl and her youngest is Sofia, she wasn't born yet. Enjoy these beautiful photos of Kodiak and my sisters family.

Tony was in Homer for his 35th birthday, buying supplies for a fence. We celebrated on Tues St Patricks Day. As Tony was unloading his supplies he hit his head pretty hard and had to go to the ER. His friends took him and dropped him off, (I was still in pajamas) it was about 8 am. I met up at the ER and got to watch the procedure. Tony has 5 stitches in his head now. Because there was no nurse or CNA to help the DR I helped get supplies and assist. Tony is doing well, recovering fast, but can't wear a welding cap yet. His stitches can come out on Thursday. Not the best way to start out your spring break!
The boys wouldnt stay still long enough for a good photo, so this is what you get. Thanks Phillip for taking Tony to the ER
Snow day!
It's very rare Alaska has a snow day, but here we are just one day back from spring break, schools and college all closed! The boys are having fun playing and shoveling.
Before all this craziness, I held my first Cut-A-Thon, to raise $ for our adoption. We did very well and I am excited to do more down the road.
Albert had a music concert a few weeks ago and even played a solo. I accidentaly deleted it but I have his Alutiq dance to show. Hope you all like the photos we have to share. xoxoSilvia

Spring collection 2009
Thanks Amy for being my neck model!! Heehee. I'm modeling some earrings, hope the prom girls like 'em.
Albert's funny face mask with voice changing abilities. The piggy mom made me.
I am posting some photos of my new jewlery collection I created. My boss at the salon really likes what I do and requested some pieces to sell at her shop. About half of what I make goes into more supplies and the other half I am putting away to offset the cost of adoption. My visiting teacher is also hosting a cut-a-thon over spring break to help with the cost as well. I am so greatfull to her for helping our family. We have a large piggy bank that we are using as our savings account, even Thomas is contributing to it. Thomas is a natural helper and always wants to see everyone happy. His contributions are very sincere. I love my teenager!! Love to all, Tony, Silvia, Thomas, and Albert. (Some day maybe a little Ella too)
Albert had so much fun making his funny face mask!! The kit was a gift from Grandma Lolie (Hunee) for Christmas. The piggy bank was also a gift to me about 15 years ago. She hand painted it for me and I have treasured it all these years. When our little girl comes, I will tell her the story that we saved up for her adoption using this piggy bank.
